The journey of elephant riding experience at Lak Lake

Buon Ma Thuot - the capital of Dak Lak province, is known as one of the attractive tourist destinations of Vietnam. Not only famous for its delicious specialty teas and green coffee hills, but it is also a place that provides unique tourist experiences for visitors, including the experience of riding elephants in Ho Lak. After purchasing tickets at Van Long Elephant Lak Lake, we were guided to climb onto the elephants' backs and began this new journey. The elephant riding journey took us through ancient villages, rice fields, kenaf tree plantations, and waterlogged areas near the lake. The guides shared with us the habits and lifestyle of elephants, the culture of the local people in the area, the historical journey and information about the elephants. After the trip ended, visitors could reward the elephants with small gifts such as bananas or sugarcane. Every evening, the elephants are taken up to the mountain forest to enjoy the cool mountain breeze. In the morning, they are brought back to gather at the village. When there are guests who want to participate in the tour, each individual elephant will be taken to serve the visitors. The main activities are taking photos for check-ins, observing the elephants wandering and looking for food, rather than riding them or requesting them to perform.

The service price

The ticket price for the elephant riding experience is 500,000 VND for 2 adults and lasts for approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on the speed of the elephant.
