Gong Culture

Space of Gong Culture in the Central Highlands was recognized by UNESCO as masterpieces of oral and intangible humanity on November 15, 2005. This is the 2nd legacy of Vietnam to receive this title. Central Highlands gong culture space spread over five provinces in the Central Highlands: Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong. The subject of the Central Highlands gong culture includes elements following parts: gongs, instrumental music with gongs, gong players, using gongs festivals (new rice feast, the Feast of same side, …), the venue of the festival (the long, empty, Guoi houses, fields, sea water, the forest next to the village, …) etc.

Central Highlands gong is recognized not only in the “nature music” but in “cultural space” – organic environmental music of gongs.

Brings together senior artists with ancient gong gong. In the cultural space of gongs. Can accommodate groups with over 200 guests.
